Heyyyyy ladies!!!

Alright, let me tell you that my hair was DRY. I don't know what happened to me, I let myself go for a second. Never again. My hair felt like carpet. Very bad. 

SO! I decided to do my super cool summer deep conditioner and leave it in for 3 hours, and the proof is in the pudding! (Well, the mayo in this case...)

Put the whole mess in my hair and covered it with this aluminum cap. It's supposed
to use my own body heat and do something. Can't say much for that, besides
that it's the only cap where my whole head fits :)

I smelled like food, that's the only downside.

Have you deep conditioned yet?

Yes, of course, my hair was wet so take into consideration some of the shine comes from the water. But you can totally see the difference!! After it dried, it's feeling SO SOFT! I can't keep my hands off of it! My little conditioner cocktail works for me :) Have you tried it?

I was let down by a deep conditioner

So my hair was feeling dry, and I thought of trying some new products. I went to Sally's to get many different little deep-conditioner trial packs to see which I liked, and of course, give you the inside scoop.

For extremely damaged hair

This product did not work on my hair at ALL! Good thing I bought the little pack and not the big bottle because it didn't work for me at all. I used TWO little packs and left it on all day under a heat cap and NOTHING. 

So my review, if you see this product, look away and try something else because it didn't do what it "promised" to do.

The Perfect Deep Conditioner for the Summer!

Hey natural beauties!! So sorry for not posting as often as I should! I have a LOT of new stuff coming, so check us out every week, we have so many new products to tell you of!


The summer is (practically) HERE!!! Yayy!! 
During the summer we are very exposed to chemicals from pools, intense sunlight (if you're here in florida!), the beach and sand!! It's a great time for us, but many times a rough time for our hair! I recently went to the beach and did this deep conditioner a couple of days before to make sure it was properly nourished. 


Note: This D.C will do it's magic on straight hair too, so if you don't have an afro, still go for it! Your hair will be thoroughly protected!!

Roxy's Super Summer Deep Conditioner:

*Olive Oil (2/3 of a cup)

*Honey (2 table spoons)

*Mayo (1/2 cup) --even more AWESOME if its made with Olive Oil!

*Olive Oil Replenishing Pak (1 pak is plenty)

*Hello Hydration Conditioner (a hand full) --or YOUR favorite conditioner! Whatever you love!

*2 eggs (both the yolk and the whites included)

Mix them all up together as much as you can until its blended. You might see some mayo clumps-- that's fine! But everything else needs to be properly blended.


Wash your hair as usual. Rinse out the shampoo, and carefully begin pouring the Deep Conditioner all over your hair. Not too much on your scalp, more towards the bottom half but spread it everywhere. Wash whatever fell on your body off, and place a shower cap over your hair. Wrap it with a towel or a bandana and leave in for about 1 hour (although I left mine in for two hours! However long you can leave it in is fine). Rinse it out well, apply your favorite conditioner again on your hair, detangle, rinse, and you are READY FOR THE BEACH FUN!!!! Both you and your hair will be STUNNING!
